Wibit installs the world’s biggest floating water park

German company Wibit Sports, a leading floating water park brand, has topped its own Guinness World Record title which it achieved in 2019 for the world’s largest floating water park, consisting of colourful floating play modules forming the word “Indonesia”.
Now, an even larger floating park with a capacity of 700 people has been installed at Pure Beach in King Abdullah Economic City, Saudi Arabia. The park spells out the word ‘Saudi-Arabia’.
The WibitTAG-system allows colourful play modules forming any letter, number or symbol to be put on the water to create individual messages. Due to the unique modularity of Wibit Sports products, any location can be given an iconic identity.
In King Abdullah Economic City, the letters “Saudi-Arabia” represent not only a floating playground but also an eye-catching form of communication.
Within just four days the 17-ton water park, which consists of more than 200 inflatable modules, was transported from the Wibit’s headquarters in Bocholt, Germany, to Saudi Arabia.
The six-person Wibit-installation-team installed and set up the park in record time. Operator Blue Limits, a local Saudi company, hosted the opening in August.
This project marks another milestone for the Bocholt-based company, which is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year and installed SportsParks in 100 countries around the globe.
