Intamin has a high number of water rides on its order books for future delivery. “The success of Pilgrim’s Plunge at Holiday World & Splashin’ Safari [pictured] contributed to that,” believes Intamin and Ride Trade’s Sascha Czibulka.
Within the next few years the Swiss supplier will deliver several smaller clones of the ride, before eventually building a taller one. Also planned are several Rapids rides going into Europe and Asia, and two Spillwaters to Europe.
Intamin is delivering two new rollercoasters in 2010, one to Kings Dominion in Virginia and another to an unidentified European park.
The company is also supplying monorails to attractions in Italy and Africa.
