Family-focused attractions mooted
Leading Chinese ride manufacturer Golden Horse Amusement has revealed that financing is in place develop a nationwide chain of parks.
Still at the planning stage, the company has yet to decide on a name for the new enterprise or announce any potential locations, but according to spokesman David Jia, “the parks will be small and family-focused, combining a mix of hi-tech attractions and dark rides etc.”
Golden Horse, which already operates a children’s park in Guangzhou (pictured), has also announced that it will be one of the suppliers at the new Snoopy-branded park planned in Shunde City, also part of Guangdong Province. Subjected to delay, the project is now scheduled to open late 2008/early 2009.
