Tigris debuts at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay

Busch Gardens Tampa Bay opens Tigris, a triple-launch steel roller coaster from Premier Rides, on Friday, April 19. The new attraction is Florida’s tallest launch coaster and the ninth coaster in the park’s collection. Tigris will catapult riders through an array of looping twists with forward and backward motion, drops, a 150-foot (46 m) skyward surge, and an inverted heartline roll, reaching a top speed of 62 mph (100 kph). Tigris will race riders along more than 1,800 feet (549 m) of steel track designed to mimic the agility of the tiger.
