Richard Coleman named CEO at American Resort Management 


Richard Coleman has been named Chief Executive Officer of American Resort Management, a growing hospitality management company with offices in Erie, Pennsylvania and Grand Prairie, Texas. A co-founder of American Resort Management, Coleman brings over 30 years of leadership experience in the hospitality, destination resort and attractions industry. His career has encompassed extensive work in hotel, food and beverage, conference centre, amusement and waterpark development and management. Coleman’s expertise includes development, financing, branding, launch initiatives and daily management of single and multi-unit properties.

ARM projects include Epic Waters Indoor Waterpark, Parrot Island Waterpark, Pump House at Jay Peak Resort (and Jay Peak Resort), The Newport Beach Club, and the Great American Arcade, just to name a few.

With more than three decades of work in the resort and hotel industry, Coleman is known for his success in managing hotel and resort leadership teams through clear communications, strategies and tactics that create superior guest experiences. Coleman is uniquely skilled in balancing the priorities of the hotel owner as well as the needs of the property. He is an exceptional problem-solver while also being a visionary when it comes to public/private partnerships, activation strategies and managing capital improvements.
