New legislation could make old rides redundant
Pax Design continues to receive interest in its complete park design service as operators in Russia await approval of new standards likely to render some existing attractions redundant. After a series of delays, the new legislation is expected to be approved any day now.
This past season Pax supplied several freefall tower and giant swing rides to its Eastern European customers and in 2008 is scheduled to supply a Cobra rollercoaster to Connyland in Switzerland. The ride should have debuted in 2007, but after TÜV approval should now be ready for a mid-March opening.
