Parque de la Costa adds new attractions

Parque de la Costa’s owner, Fénix Enterteinment Group, will invest US$6 million in new attractions for the park’s 25th anniversary, including virtual reality simulators, a new roller coaster and re-vamped shows.

Walter Álvarez, general manager of the Parque de la Costa, said: “We implemented an investment plan to increase the entertainment offer, within the framework of the 25 years. The idea is to present news every month and that the national and international public can enjoy a unique agenda.”

In May, Parque de la Costa will unveil a new virtual reality game, Space Prison and a new karting circuit which will be exclusively sponsored by Axion. In June, the park will add six new children’s mechanical games and more virtual reality simulators. In July, Parque de la Costa will premiere its new Peter Pan show, complimenting its range of live shows including Zombie Invasion, Braulio Bear, Yoni, the Movie Musical and MudFace, as well as its Park characters. Parque de la Costa is also finalising the addition of a new dark roller coaster which is expected to launch in May 2023.

Álvarez added: “We are working on making different types of alliances with brands to provide the audience with a new experience, with visibility and positioning activities.”
