One Giant Leap, the innovator of Parabounce ballooning technology, plans to develop the world’s first indoor ballooning attraction in Las Vegas.
Parabounce Vegas will be an air-inflated, 100,000 sq ft bubble-style dome where up to 20 passengers can simultaneously float, soar and bounce in individual 22ft helium balloons. Groundbreaking is planned for May 2011.
Parabounce was originally developed by company founder Stephen Meadows as an outdoor “balloon jumping” experience aimed at generating funds for children’s charities. The new attraction in Vegas will enhance the experience by adding “aerial bumper cars” along with a pedal-powered flying bicycle called the ParaBike.
“I wanted to launch the flagship Parabounce in Las Vegas because of the variety of visitors and the 24-hour nature of the city,” reveals Meadows. ”
