Guests surveys indicate increased popularity

Guests surveys at Universal Orlando show that this year’s Halloween Horror Nights rated highly with the park’s fearless visitors. “Last year’s event was so popular it broke attendance records and gained national recognition,” notes Mark Kupferman, director of consumer insights. “This year’s survey results show that guests like this year’s even better.”

The number of guests who rated Halloween Horror Nights 18 as “excellent” increased by 13 percentage points over last year. The number of guests who say they would recommend Halloween Horror Nights to their friends has increased by 26 points.

Those who say they wanted to experience Halloween Horror Nights again increased by 19 points. And when it comes to value, the number of guests who said this year’s event gives them great value for the money increased by 16 percentage points over last year.

Halloween Horror Nights 18 showcased eight haunted houses, each with a story never before explored by Universal’s fear experts. The street program was larger and more elaborate than ever before, including six scare zones, “like haunted houses without walls.”
