Disneyland Resort to welcome guests for a season of festive entertainment, seasonal food and beverages, holiday merchandise and magical experiences from Nov. 13, 2026 through Jan. 6, 2027

Holiday magic is set to return to the Disneyland Resort as Holidays at the Disneyland Resort brings festive entertainment, dazzling decorations, seasonal food and beverages, exclusive merchandise and much-loved traditions to the resort from Nov. 13, 2026 through Jan. 6, 2027.

At Disneyland Park, guests can celebrate alongside Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse and their friends as they debut new festive fashions inspired by holiday travel and a wintry alpine gathering.

Santa Claus will also be making a new stop on his holiday route. From Nov. 13 through Dec. 24, guests can meet Santa at the Mickey’s Toontown Trolley Barn near Roger Rabbit’s Car Toon Spin, alongside his appearance at Redwood Creek Challenge Trail in Disney California Adventure Park.

Entertainment will take centre stage throughout the resort, with the return of “World of Color – Season of Light” at Disney California Adventure. The spectacular combines moments from films including Disney’s Beauty and the Beast and Disney and Pixar’s Inside Out with holiday classics and fan-favourite songs.

At Disneyland Park, guests can enjoy the return of “A Christmas Fantasy Parade”, featuring Disney characters, toy soldiers, dancing reindeer and gingerbread cookies. The “Believe…in Holiday Magic” nighttime spectacular will also return, combining festive fireworks with magical snowfall.

Seasonal attraction overlays will once again bring a festive twist to some of Disneyland Resort’s most popular experiences. Haunted Mansion Holiday and “it’s a small world” Holiday will return at Disneyland, while Mater’s Jingle Jamboree and Luigi’s Joy to the Whirl will bring Christmas cheer to Cars Land at Disney California Adventure.

Each evening, more than 80,000 twinkling lights will illuminate the castle during Wintertime Enchantment at Sleeping Beauty’s Winter Castle, with gentle “snow” falling along parts of Main Street, U.S.A. and other areas of Disneyland.

Guests can also take home a little of the holiday magic with new merchandise collections, including the Mickey Mouse and Family Christmas Collection and Disney Vintage Holiday Collection, featuring festive clothing, accessories, home décor and gifts.

Seasonal flavours will be available across the resort, with returning favourites including the cool mint and chocolate cookie Mickey elf shake from Schmoozies! and the merry cranberry crispy chicken sandwich at Galactic Grill. New holiday novelties will also be available, including the Mickey Train Light-Up popcorn bucket and Holiday Stitch Christmas Tree sipper.

For an additional festive experience, guests can take part in the Holiday Time at the Disneyland Resort Guided Tour, available for an additional cost. The experience explores holiday traditions and stories connected to Walt Disney and his family, while also providing reserved viewing for “A Christmas Fantasy Parade.”

Disney Festival of Holidays returns to Disney California Adventure

From Nov. 13, Disney Festival of Holidays will return to Disney California Adventure, celebrating the diverse ways families and communities mark the holiday season through music, dance, food and entertainment.

Guests can enjoy performances from the Holiday Toy Drummers and the colourful “Mickey’s Happy Holidays” cavalcade. On select days, Mirabel and her friends from Disney Animation’s Encanto will appear in “Mirabel’s Gifts of the Season” at Paradise Gardens Park.

On Buena Vista Street, Mariachi Alegría de Disneyland and Miguel from Pixar’s Coco will perform bilingual versions of holiday songs in “A Musical Christmas with Mariachi Alegría de Disneyland & Miguel!”

The resort will also welcome back Disney ¡Viva Navidad!, celebrating Latin American holiday traditions through live music, specialty food and character appearances. On select days, the Disney ¡Viva Navidad! Street Party will feature The Three Caballeros alongside Mexican folklórico dancers, mariachis, Brazilian samba dancers and more.

Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Goofy and The Three Caballeros will also make appearances in festive attire at Paradise Gardens Park throughout the celebration.

Food will be another highlight, with six Festive Food Marketplaces serving a selection of new and returning seasonal dishes and drinks. Guests can also purchase a Sip and Savor Pass, which includes six digital coupons redeemable against select food and non-alcoholic beverages at participating Marketplaces and dining locations within Disney California Adventure.

Holiday magic continues at Disneyland Resort hotels

The festive celebrations will continue beyond the theme parks, with the Hotels of the Disneyland Resort offering seasonal experiences throughout the holiday period.

Santa Claus will make appearances at select times at the Disneyland Hotel, Pixar Place Hotel and Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa.

At Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, guests can see a seven-foot-tall gingerbread display in the Great Hall lobby, inspired by the hotel’s distinctive Craftsman architecture.

Three holiday-themed character dining experiences will also return for a limited time. These include Goofy’s Kitchen Celebrates the Holidays! at the Disneyland Hotel, alongside Daisy’s Holiday Pajama Party for breakfast and brunch and Mickey’s Christmas Carol Feast for dinner at Storytellers Cafe in Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa. Reservations will open at a later date.

Additional seasonal offerings include holiday treats and menu items at Broken Spell Lounge in the Disneyland Hotel, as well as festive treatments including the Joy of Holiday body treatment at Tenaya Stone Spa.

Guests looking to extend their holiday visit can also take advantage of savings of up to 20% on select stays of three or more nights at a Disneyland Resort Hotel for visits between Oct. 11 and Dec. 18, 2026. Reservations begin Sept. 22, 2026, subject to availability and restrictions.

Downtown Disney District gets into the festive spirit

The Downtown Disney District will also be transformed for the holiday season, with festive decorations, seasonal shopping, food and beverages and live entertainment.

The Downtown Disney LIVE! Stage will feature nightly “snowfall”, alongside live bands and DJs performing holiday favourites.

Families can also take part in Chip and Dale’s Ornament Trail, a festive scavenger hunt that invites guests to search for hidden ornaments throughout the district. Activity maps can be purchased at participating retail locations and redeemed for a holiday keepsake once completed.

Seasonal menus, sweet treats and festive beverages will also be available at participating Downtown Disney locations.

With festive décor, seasonal flavours, much-loved entertainment and new experiences, Holidays at the Disneyland Resort will offer guests a variety of ways to celebrate the season and create lasting memories with family and friends from Nov. 13, 2026 through Jan. 6, 2027.
