Attractions company Zip World has announced that Andrew Hudson is the new CEO, taking over from Adrian Jones who stepped down in July after only six months in the role.
The extreme sports activity group named Hudson in the top job after five years with the company, leading the commercial sector of the business that saw the expansion of venues to seven and taking over a hotel. Hudson’s team was also responsible for raising £6.2m in financing from the Welsh and UK governments, enabling Zip World to build a new cable car attraction.
Former CEO Adrian Jones was previously the US president of major theme park operator Merlin Entertainments.
