WWA Show takes attendees inside a ‘Most Magical Place’

The World Waterpark Association’s Annual Symposium & Trade Show is the largest, once-a-year gathering of waterpark professionals who come together to share ideas, address challenges and prepare for the next season. This year the WWA Show will take place October 7-10, 2019, at Walt Disney World Resort, Lake Buena Vista, Florida.

“We are fortunate to be able to take our group back to Walt Disney World Resort for our 39th annual show,” said Rick Root, WWA President. “It’s been 10 years since the WWA Show has been hosted on Disney property and the buzz is already building for people to come together in one of the world’s ‘most magical places on Earth.’”

Disney provides some amazing guest amenities that will make attendees’ stay that much better, from complimentary shuttle service to and from the airport via Disney’s Magical Express to discounted pricing on theme parks tickets to access to extra hours in designated Disney theme parks. Plus, thanks to the show’s location in central Florida, WWA will be hosting networking events that take people behind-the-scenes of Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park, one of the world’s most attended waterparks, and Island H2O Live!, the newest waterpark to open in Florida featuring some innovative use of technology. Other networking highlights include the Annual Golf Tournament at Disney’s Palm Golf Course and an optional picnic event at Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park, which includes play-in-the-park time.

The WWA Trade Show floor is filling up fast as well, with 350+ booths expected featuring thousands of products that waterparks use on a daily basis. Many designers and ride manufacturers will debut their latest ride innovations on the show floor, along with some of the latest new developments in waterpark supplies and services.

In addition, the WWA Show’s educational program is supported by the world’s largest gathering of more than 100 waterpark experts with real-world experience who present information in all-day workshops and hour-long breakout sessions. WWA’s educational program features the most comprehensive, waterpark-specific content available in the world today. This year’s program will feature two inspiring Keynote speakers. First up will be Eric Chester, a leader in hiring right-fit team members, sharing ideas on how to find, develop and keep great employees in your waterpark. Next up will be Jessica Bound speaking on Become the brand people cannot live without by creating a customer service revolution. Other highlights from the educational program include sessions on safety, maintenance, marketing, group sales, customer service and much more.
