Western Train Co. has been involved in the repair and restoration of Antique carousels for more than 12 years, carrying on the work of Brass Rings Entertainment and the late Dan Horenberger. In 2017 Western Train Co. assumed many current carousel restoration projects in progress by Brass Ring Carousel Co.
Western Train documents the entire process of Carousel Restorations complete with photo and video updates of every step. Their team of amusement industry professionals is made up of carousel historians, master carvers, painters, machinists, engineers, and theming experts. They are currently restoring three units to their former glory, including a 1927 Illions Supreme Carousel of Los Angeles, the Broadway Flying Horses 1890s Looff Carousel originally from New York’s Coney Island, and the 1902 Dentzel Carousel from the Knotts Berry Farm Lagoon.
