Anaklia, which was awarded city status in August 2011, will welcome a waterpark as from this summer. The new facility will belocated at the Anaklia City Resort, a luxurious seaside development on Georgia’s Black Sea coast.
AquaPark Anaklia has been designed by WhiteWater and will feature of the Canadian company’s newest waterslides, the Constrictor. The flume expands from 4.5ft (1.3 m) to 7ft (2.1m) and back again, delivering a series of spirals which allow riders to experience the tightest, highest banked turns in the waterpark industry.
Other WhiteWater attractions will include a Family Rattler, Master Blaster, Boomerango, AquaPlay AP350, AquaLoop, family wave pool, innertube slides, a speed slide and SuperBowl.
