Walt Disney World has confirmed that two of its most popular resort hotel benefits – Early Theme Park Entry and Extended Evening Hours – will continue through 2027.

Both perks launched in 2021 as part of the resort’s 50th anniversary celebrations, replacing the previous Extra Magic Hours program. At its peak, Extra Magic Hours gave resort hotel guests up to three hours of extended evening access after regular park close, plus an hour of early morning entry.

That benefit applied to only one specific park on any given day. Extra Magic Hours were suspended during the Covid-19 shutdown in 2020 and never returned when the parks reopened.

Early Theme Park Entry
Available to guests staying at any Disney Resort hotel and a range of select partner hotels, Early Theme Park Entry gives you 30 minutes of early access to any of the four theme parks every day of your stay, including check-in and check-out days.

Participating hotels include all Disney Resort hotels, as well as:

  • Walt Disney World Swan, Dolphin, and Swan Reserve;
  • Four Seasons Resort Orlando;
  • Waldorf Astoria Orlando;
  • Shades of Green;
  • Signia by Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek; and
  • And several other select hotels.

Valid theme park admission is required, and for some ticket types, a park reservation may also be needed.

Extended Evening Hours
Extended Evening Hours is a benefit reserved for guests staying at Disney Deluxe Resorts, Disney Deluxe Villa Resorts, and a smaller selection of partner hotels. It gives you extra time in select parks on specific evenings beyond regular closing time.

Eligible hotels for this benefit include:

  • All Disney Deluxe and Deluxe Villa Resorts;
  • Walt Disney World Swan, Dolphin, and Swan Reserve; and
  • Shades of Green.
