Vortex Aquatic Structures International, a leader in the aquatic play industry, is proud to announce that Mr. Paolo Taverna has joined the team as vice president of operations. In this pivotal role, Paolo will be overseeing more than half of all the company’s activities and leading the operations sector in enhancing cost effectiveness and productivity while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Paolo was drawn to the spirit of innovation at Vortex and intends to channel it strategically to create the factory of the future. He plans to leverage lean manufacturing and design to manufacturability principles to drive efficiency improvements, process automation, and growth acceleration for the benefit of Vortex’s expanding customer base.

Vortex International President Stephen Hamelin praised Paolo’s arrival in February, saying, “Vortex has been experiencing strong growth, which translates into increasing demands on our manufacturing operations. Paolo’s extensive knowledge and track record will be significant assets in optimising operations to ensure we continue to deliver the high level of quality customers expect from Vortex International as we grow.”
