Vertigo opens at Woodlands Park in Devon

This month saw the opening of a brand new ride at Woodlands family theme park in Devon. The park is set in 90 acres with 16 different family rides and 11 play zones for all ages.Imported from Italy and manufactured by Moser Rides, Vertigo is the latest offering at the previous dairy farm. Local construction companies were involved at various stages of the installation of the ride, managing to get the ride up and functioning in just two days, ready for the summer holidays.

The new Vertigo ride is located in the Sea Monster zone opposite a crowd favourite the Sea Dragon Swing Ship, and is one of the first rides you see as you drive through the gates of the park. Vertigo is very appropriately named, as it blasts guests in to the sky whilst also spinning.

Park Director, Chris Bendall commented: “we are very excited to introduce this new ride to Woodlands Family Theme Park offering something completely different to our guests. The view from the top is something that just has to be experienced”.
