Ahead of the opening of Epic Universe, Universal Orlando is going to preview its new theme park in four US cities as part of the National Epic Universe Portal Tour.

The interactive experience will give fans a first look at Epic Universe before it opens to the public on May 22.

The tour will include stops in Atlanta, New York, Philadelphia and Chicago.

The centrepiece of the tour will be a 30-foot-tall Chronos tower, a replica of the park’s front gate.

Guests will be invited to approach the mesmerising portal structure to witness action-packed sequences that celebrate the incredible adventures of the new theme park.

Guests will also get to take a photo next to the portal, and can visit it at night for an evening show with dynamic lighting and immersive music.

The National Epic Universe Portal Tour will be open on the following dates from 10am-8pm:

  • April 11-13: Pemberton Place, adjacent to World of Coca-Cola, Atlanta
  • April 23-26: Rockefeller Center, New York
  • May 16-18: The Rocky Steps, Philadelphia
  • June 13-18: Pioneer Court, Chicago

Epic Universe is the fourth theme park at Universal Orlando, joining Universal Studios Florida, Universal Islands of Adventure and Universal Volcano Bay.
