The Themed Entertainment Association (TEA) held its festive day out on Thursday 13 December.
The day kicked off with a networking lunch at London’s original escape rooms, ClueQuest, where guests took part in escape games before heading off for cocktails and onto Winter Wonderland.
The TEA’s Matt Barton said: “Now in its third year, ‘The London Festive Day Out’ Has become a tradition for our division. Each year we look to explore interesting Themed Experiences in the London area that are either new and/or are generating buzz in the industry. Escape Room experiences have been talked about at so many events recently we were keen to provide the opportunity for a number of TEA members to experience one together and clueQuest as one with such a great reputation was the natural choice.
“We in the EME division love to chat over a drink in a quirky bar so Simmons bar with their flaming cocktails and eccentric decoration was an ideal venue.
“Winter Wonderland is the perfect place to end the day with a festive feel and because of its transient nature, is different every year and always has new experiences for us to enjoy. This year’s Snowman Experience provided a magical look at a British classic story and movie within a highly themed immersive environment. I would like to thank all of our hosts for the day Alexis at clueQuest, Simmons Bar, Dominic from Backyard Cinema and Suzy at Winter Wonderland.”
