Taking the zipline to new heights!

Part zip line and part flying rollercoaster, the new Cloud Coaster from Extreme Engineering is the world’s first and only tandem ride zipline coaster.

Unveiled during November’s IAAPA Attractions Expo in Orlando, Cloud Coaster participants enjoy a fast, steel track adventure that will give them the triple sensation of flying, zip-lining and rocketing down a rollercoaster with smooth turns, uphill racing and zipping around structures.

The Cloud Coaster is the only zipline coaster using conveyor belts. Extreme Engineering’s linear motor Power Belay technology allows tandem riders to be pulled up on motors to zip up hills along the coaster track. This ensures riders experience minimal G-forces, making the ride smooth and exhilarating.

The Cloud Coaster boasts several advantages over similar devices. The linear motors can control and increase the speeds of the experience, including up-hill racing. It features high-load capacity magnetic braking technology to slow and stop riders safely. It can be retrofitted to an existing structure, such as a waterpark’s slide tower, and has options for a freestanding installation or can attach to the ceiling of a building. It is designed to start and finish riders in the same spot, making queue lines manageable with fast cycle times.

With infinite lengths and possibilities, The Cloud Coaster is available in any desired length, custom theme, or course layout. It exceeds ASTM, CE and other industry standards.
