Six Flags Discovery Kingdom and California’s Great America will light up Northern California with the return of Star-Spangled Nights presented by M&M’S®, delivering high-energy multi-day Fourth of July celebrations filled with patriotic entertainment and limited-time experiences
Guests can enjoy a full day of thrills, entertainment and specialty culinary offerings before the night builds to a spectacular patriotic finale. At Six Flags Discovery Kingdom, more than 200 drones will soar 400 feet overhead in a synchronized display set to music, creating bold, iconic designs across the sky. At California’s Great America, a vibrant fireworks show will dazzle with bursts of red, white and blue.
The excitement culminates each evening with Discovery Kingdom’s drone show at 9:15 p.m. and California’s Great America’s fireworks at 9:40 p.m., delivering can’t-miss finales July 3 and 4.

Limited-time food and experiences
Guests can celebrate all day with festive culinary offerings, immersive décor and shareable photo moments throughout both parks. Specialty food and beverage options include patriotic cocktails and mocktails, along with Americana-inspired favorites like the All-American Funnel Cake, topped with vanilla ice cream and red, white and blue sprinkles, and a layered Red, White and Blue Jell-O parfait. Additional seasonal flavors include barbecue classics, summer sweets, and refreshing frozen beverages designed exclusively for the holiday weekend.
Guests can elevate their visit with all-you-can-eat BBQ experiences featuring smoked meats, classic sides and decadent desserts. At California’s Great America, this package includes exclusive Pavilion access for prime fireworks viewing. Pricing starts at $65.99 for adults and $39.99 for children at California’s Great America and $39.95 for adults and $24.95 for children at Discovery Kingdom. Admission is separate.
