Six Flags St Louis, The Gateway to Thrills has debuted Catwoman Whip and Adventure Cove.
Catwoman Whip, a dual spinning ride, is the result of Six Flags’ partnership with Warner Bros. Themed Entertainment and DC. The ride catapults guests 164 ft into the air while spinning around in a giant vertical circle at speeds of up to 52mph.
The new, multi-level Adventure Cove is a centrepiece in Hurricane Harbour, providing the ultimate water play area. The structure’s interactive features use SmartWorks Control Technology to move more water over a greater distance than traditional manual features. Adventure Cove features 71 electronic features including water cannons, jets and blasters, a 30ft tall Hydro Storm bucket which releases 750 gallons of water in a 360° array, a pirate ship and four slides.
Phil Liggett, park president, said: “We are excited to finally bring our guests the long-awaited opening of these two great additions.”
“Catwoman Whip combines height, speed and dual motion to add yet another heart-pounding experience for thrill seekers, while Adventure Cove combines interactive features, slides and new technology to create the perfect water adventure for our younger guests.”
