Six Flags Great Adventure’s Wild Safari in Jackson, New Jersey, is receiving national recognition.
The safari has been nominated for Best Safari Park in the USA TODAY 10BEST Readers’ Choice Awards. The nomination was selected by editors and a panel of subject matter experts, with winners determined by public vote.
Wild Safari features more than 1,200 animals from around the world, including giraffes, elephants, lions, rhinos, and tigers. Guests experience the safari aboard guided vehicles traveling through expansive, open-air habitats designed to mirror natural environments.
Spanning 350 acres, Wild Safari is one of the largest safari parks in the region and is located approximately 90 minutes from both New York City and Philadelphia.
The public can vote once per day now through March 9, with winners announced March 18.
