As families from across the region visit Six Flags Great Adventure for Fright Fest, Kids Boo Fest and the upcoming Holiday in the Park season, the park is helping ensure those experiences are accessible to even more children through a significant ticket donation in partnership with Tickets for Kids
Six Flags Great Adventure has donated more than 1,200 tickets, valued at more than $80,000, to the non-profit organisation, helping children and families facing financial barriers experience a day of thrills, entertainment and lasting memories at the park. According to Tickets for Kids, the initial allotment of tickets was fully distributed to participating groups, demonstrating the strong demand for meaningful family experiences throughout the region.
The donated tickets will allow children and families served by community organizations, foster care programs and youth-focused nonprofits to enjoy everything from seasonal attractions and family rides to the immersive Halloween and holiday experiences that have become annual traditions for so many guests.
“Fall and the holiday season are all about making memories with the people who matter most,” said Michael Fehnel, Park President of Six Flags Great Adventure.
“Whether it’s a child experiencing their first roller coaster, enjoying Fright Fest or Kids Boo Fest with friends, or seeing the lights of Holiday in the Park with family, these are moments that create lifelong memories. Through our partnership with Tickets for Kids, we’re proud to help make those experiences possible for children and families who may not otherwise have the opportunity to visit.”
Tickets for Kids connects children and families with live sports, cultural, educational and recreational experiences that might otherwise be out of reach due to financial circumstances.
“We are incredibly grateful for the generosity and partnership of Six Flags Great Adventure,” said Brandice E. Miller, Executive Director. “These tickets provide children and families with opportunities to spend quality time together, create lasting memories and enjoy experiences they may not otherwise have access to.”
For generations, Six Flags Great Adventure has been a place where families gather to share unforgettable experiences. Through partnerships like Tickets for Kids, the park continues its commitment to strengthening the communities it serves and ensuring more children can experience the joy, excitement and connection that make a day at the park so special.
