Siam Park has been recognised as the best water park in the world for the tenth consecutive time. TripAdvisor has published its 2024 ranking, placing the water park in Adeje, Tenerife, in first place in its sector, according to the scores of customers who have visited it in the last year. The Traveller’s Choice Awards, Best of The Best annually publishes the list of the top ten places rated by travellers. Siam Park is in the Theme Parks and Water Parks category, which is headed by Disney Land Paris (theme park) and followed by The Water Kingdom (water park).
Tripadvisor’s Traveller’s Choice Best of the Best is only awarded to the top 1% of profiles on the platform. This selection is based on the eight million business profiles that form part of the platform and is determined according to strict selection criteria. In this sense, the absence of security incidents, the correctness of the management and behaviour in the treatment of customers, without any kind of discriminatory treatment and transparency in the comments, in which the rated companies will not be able to subvert in any way, are essential.
Siam Park becomes, with this new recognition, the only water park that for ten years has held the highest distinction awarded by the travel platform. The quality and care of the park, the spectacular attractions and the abundant shade of the vegetation are some of the most outstanding aspects in the comments with an average of five stars.
The Tripadvisor ranking is, for travellers, the most consulted reference when it comes to organising trips and choosing destinations because it is an exchange of information “from traveller to traveller” with clear, real and free descriptions of the experience.
Inaugurated in 2008, the so-called Water Kingdom has already received almost 14 million visitors, making it one of the favourite destinations for tourists visiting the Canary Islands and for Canary Island residents, who also benefit from a 50% discount.
This concept of excellence has also earned it other awards such as the 12 European Star Awards or the 3 editions of the Park World Excellence Awards: two of the most important considerations in the sector itself.
One of the reasons for this success is that the water park is constantly being renewed, including new features every season, with the new possibilities of engineering applied to fun. Saifa, Siam Park’s latest big novelty, is the perfect example. In its short history it has already been named by the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA) as the best new attraction.
