This fall, the wildest race in town is coming back to San Antonio Zoo, where the energy is high, the course is alive, and every step supports a future for wildlife conservation
The 41st Annual Zoo Run will take place for adult participants on Friday, September 11, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., followed by a Kids Zoo Run on Saturday, September 12, from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Participants are encouraged to unleash their wild side by wearing animal print, safari-inspired attire, or creative wildlife-inspired costumes.

Participants can register as a team of four for the 2-mile relay or a 4-mile adult individual race. Kids ages 1-5 and 6-11 can join the fun with 0.25-mile or 0.5-mile races.
Adult race participants will receive wild perks including a 2026 commemorative race t-shirt, a Zoo Run drawstring bag, lite bites and drinks, a runner’s bib, and one complimentary adult admission ticket. Plus, runners will gain access to a vibrant after-party in Runner’s Village. Kids Zoo Run participants will receive a 2026 commemorative race t-shirt, drawstring bag, runner’s bib, and two standard admission tickets for one adult and one child (only valid on race day).
“Zoo Run has always been about more than a race – it’s San Antonio coming together, year after year, to support a future for wildlife,” said Tim Morrow, President and CEO of San Antonio Zoo. “This community shows up for each other and for our animals, and the 41st Annual Zoo Run is a great way to celebrate that.”
