Switzerland’s Conny-Land is set to welcome a new vertical dark ride, manufactured by Ride Engineers Switzerland (RES). The contract for this project, which is planned for 2020, was signed at the European Attraction Show EAS Amsterdam by Roby Gasser from Conny-Land and Willy Walser, RES.
The new vertical dark ride will allow a unique story-telling experience, and part of the project will be developed by Nick Farmer from Farmer Attractions Development.
Conny-Land’s new dark ride will be an excellent addition to the park, which ensures a fun visit for guests – even if it rains!
Ride Engineers Switzerland has previously built other vertical rides around the globe, fulfilling the market demand of interactivity and multi-media.
Additionally, Wilde Hilde, RES’ Roller-ball concept of 2016, is now ready to be launched at Schwabenpark, Germany. Wilde Hilde is based on the Roller-ball concept, and the vertical coaster is themed after a chicken barn, fitting perfectly into the scenery of the park. The ride is now installed, more than 3’000 test rides have been successfully made, and in order to fulfil the needs for younger children, the ride was enhanced and will undergo a final TÜV check within the upcoming weeks.
