Three days fully packed with latest insights from Belgium
The attractions industry in Belgium has been evolving, and IAAPA EMEA Spring Summit participants will have the chance to see many new attractions and new park enhancements. The Spring Summit will feature the opportunity to experience what’s new, while also providing unique behind-the-scenes experiences.
First stop will be at Walibi Belgium, a theme park located in Wavre. The park is preparing to open the tallest rollercoaster in Benelux. Part of its long-term park strategy and investment plan, Kondaa is a 1200 metre long and 50 meter high mega coaster.
During the second leg of the tour, delegates will pop in to Pairi Daiza, one of Europe’s leading zoos. Famous for its beautiful gardens and extensive theming, Pairi Daiza has invested heavily in expanding their accommodations and guest offerings.
Bellewaerde, meanwhile, features a theme park, water park and a zoo. There delegates will have the chance to learn about its strategy for blending various guest offers. In addition, participants will be able to experience their water slides. For those who don’t want to get wet, Wakala, the park’s new steel family roller coaster will be open.
The final stop will be at Plopsaland De Panne, a theme park near the Belgian coast. The park has been busy opening a new hotel, along with Europe’s first launched spinning coaster, Ride to Happiness by Tomorrowland. The ride is part of the park’s partnership with the music festival, Tomorrowland, and a great example of an inspiring intellectual property (IP) collaboration.

In the event IAAPA cancels the event, registrants will receive a full registration fee refund,” said Jakob Wahl, executive director and vice president, IAAPA EMEA.
