Rainbow Productions to showcase new services at IAAPA Expo Europe
Returning to IAAPA Expo Europe 2019 for the 16th consecutive year, UK costume character and mascot specialist Rainbow Productions will be highlighting a new manufacturing service available to the European attractions industry.
Due to the increased demand for puppets, rather than costume characters, Rainbow Productions has developed innovative designs, with and without technological requirements, and will be showcasing its new Pierrot Bear body puppet at the show. Evolving from traditional hand-puppets to larger child-proportioned models, body puppets offer clients an interactive alternative or addition to their full-sized costume character mascots.
Rainbow Productions continues to be a global leader in custom-made mascot manufacture and have produced costume characters for a majority of the world’s leading Licensing studios, International Sporting associations and Tournaments, Brand Mascots, Leisure Attractions and Film Producers. Within the European market, the company have recently bought to life characters from the hit French animated TV series, Zig & Sharko, and also Skillzy the official mascot for the UEFA EURO 2020 tournament.
The Rainbow Productions stand will be staffed by James Barlow, export manager and Georgina Huckle, creative marketing manager. “Since EAS 2018 in Amsterdam, it’s been Rainbow’s most successful export year ever.” comments Georgina. “The French costume character market is one of the company’s most developing and therefore the timing of IAAPA Europe being in Paris is perfect for Rainbow.”
