A theme park has been sold and will start an “exciting new chapter” with its new owners.
Pleasurewood Hills in Lowestoft, Suffolk, announced on LinkedIn that it had been acquired by Premier Attractions from French company Looping Group.
The theme park, home to more than 35 rides, first opened in 1983 and was visited by the late Queen Elizabeth II and the Duke of Edinburgh shortly after its opening.
The theme park said in a statement that more details would be revealed in the future.

The theme park’s statement said: “We’re delighted to announce that Pleasurewood Hills has officially been acquired by Premier Attractions.
“This marks the start of an exciting new chapter for the park, and we can’t wait to share our vision and future plans with you.
“There’s so much in store; and we’ll be revealing more details very soon.”
Looping Group had owned the theme park since 2011.
