Opens new Attractions for Morey’s Piers

Celebrating 50 summers of family fun, Morey’s Piers & Beachfront Water Parks, located on the boardwalk of the Wildwoods, New Jersey, has opened its three amusement piers and two waterparks for the season.

Visitors to Mariner’s Pier will discover Wild Whizzer, a small spinning coaster from the SBF Visa Group with carts customised to look like hovercrafts. Completely revamped for the 2018 season, Pirates of the Wildwoods dark boat ride has refreshed interior scenes that have been painted with 3D fluorescent paints – giving the illusion of movement when guests wear 3D glasses.

Captain Bones, the ride’s cartoon mascot, leads guests on an interactive adventure to find the treasure of the Wildwood boardwalk. Morey’s Piers has also installed a new Coca-Cola branded stage at Mariner’s Pier near the Giant Wheel. Founders Pub, honouring 15 pioneers of the amusement industry who were prominent in New Jersey, has also opened on Mariner’s.
