Miss Adventure Falls
Florida’s first raft ride in a waterpark has opened at Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon, Walt Disney World.
Miss Adventure Falls brings to life the story of Captain Mary Oceaneer, a treasure-hunting heroine who got stranded with her pet parrot at Typhoon Lagoon years ago by a rogue storm.
Walt Disney World guests are transported in their “treasure rafts” by conveyor belt to the top of the attraction, passing by Mary’s wrecked ship where her parrot can be seen talking.
From there, this whitewater rafting adventure takes passengers through twists, turns and dips where they will see deep-sea artefacts collected by Captain Oceaneer collected on her many treasure hunts around the world.
With a ride time of two minutes, Miss Adventure Falls is the longest attraction at Typhoon Lagoon.
