MediaMation expand into Austria

Cineplexx Kinobetriebe has partnered with MediaMation to install the company’s first MX4D Motion EFX Theatre. The 72 seat, 18-bench theatre is located in Graz, Austria’s second largest city. The state-of-the-art seats utilise a full range of motion and technology to enhance movie releases, including wind, fog, strobing, and other in-theatre special effects.

MediaMation’s silent air-driven pneumatic system, and moves beyond standard 3D cinema experiences with special designed seats that feature the new EFX armrest.

Currently, MediaMation is working with Cineplexx Kinobetriebe to install and open two additional locations, Belgrade and Novi Sad, by the end of the year.
