Maxx Force is rising

Construction of Maxx Force, the new launch coaster from S&S – Sansei, is progressing smoothly at Six Flags Great America, Gurnee, Illinois. will debut a revolutionary, triple record-breaking, new roller coaster for the 2019 season. The ride is currently about 20% complete with over 75 footers in place as the ride’s foundation and even parts of the ride track already in place. When complete it will be the fastest launch coaster in North America, accelerating to 78 mph (126 kph) in less than two seconds. When Maxx Force opens it will break three records. It will have the fastest launch in North America, the tallest double inversion in the world, and the fastest inversion in the world. It will also feature one-of-a-kind custom coaster trains modeled after Formula 1 racing cars.
