San Antonio Zoo invites the community to enjoy $8 admission for the next Locals Day on Wednesday, July 15
Locals Day, Presented by Community First Health Plans, returns for all Bexar County residents, offering families an affordable and meaningful way to explore world-class habitats and wild fun!
This Locals Day will feature an engaging presentation by CPS Energy. Watch the Arc & Spark demonstration, running every 20 minutes from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Great Lawn. This live demonstration shows the dangers of electricity and what can happen when everyday items touch downed power lines or other electrical wires. Come learn what you can do to keep you and your family safe.
Throughout the year, San Antonio Zoo offers “Locals Days” featuring $8 admission tickets for Bexar County residents. Locals Day $8 admission is valid on select dates and available exclusively to Bexar County residents with proof of residency.
Locals Day gives residents the opportunity to explore the zoo’s immersive habitats, encounter incredible wildlife from around the world, and create lasting memories with family and friends at one of San Antonio’s most beloved destinations.
Guests can experience Congo Falls, a two-acre habitat that represents a bold new chapter in innovative design, wildlife conservation, education, and exceptional animal care. Marking the return of gorillas to San Antonio Zoo after more than 35 years, Congo Falls sets a new global standard for gorilla care and immersive guest experiences. The habitat allows guests to come face-to-face with gorillas, explore a towering landscape built for movement and discovery, and connect with a story rooted in conservation and innovation.
Congo Falls is included with zoo admission and is FREE for zoo members.
