LEGOLAND Shanghai Resort has entered its final pre-opening phase, ahead of its launch this summer.
Since construction officially began in 2021, around 300 teams from 15 countries have contributed to this nearly 1,300-day construction project of the resort, which employed more than 10,000 construction workers.
“We are filled with enthusiasm and excitement to jointly witness this milestone moment of LEGOLAND Shanghai Resort,” said Jeanette Chen, general manager of LEGOLAND Shanghai Resort.
“Thanks to the wisdom and effort spent by many teams and construction workers. We look forward to every guest stepping into the resort in the future; being surrounded by surprise and creativity and embarking on a marvellous journey filled with happiness and inspiration.”
As the countdown reaches 35 days to the official opening of LEGOLAND Shanghai Resort on May 31, the resort will launch internal test and trial operation, inviting select guests to be among the first to explore the park and help fine-tune every detail before the grand opening on July 5.
