Legoland reveals drone’s eye view of new Miniland expansion

Prior to opening its doors for the new season, Legoland Windsor Resort has released a drone’s eye view of the new additions to its Miniland attraction; Miniland USA.  The drone footage explores famous landmarks from around the globe, with new sights including the Taj Mahal in Agra, St. Basil’s Cathedral in Moscow, the Sydney Opera House, and Beijing’s Forbidden City.

Miniland USA took 55 Legoland model makers over 12,000 hours to build, and features the New York Skyline, the Empire State Building, and the Statue of Liberty – made from 44,00 ‘Yoda green’ coloured bricks.

Guests can also enjoy a journey along Route 66 and the Golden Gate Bridge, Times Square, and the White House. Visitors with keen eyes will be able to spot the smaller details; area 51, Cloud Gate, and the 20 yellow Lego taxis made for New York.

Miniland has been a part of the Legoland Windsor Resort since it opened in 1996.
