Knocking you for 6

The opening of new slide complex Fully 6 at Australia’s biggest theme park consolidates Polin Waterparks role as a leading waterpark designer and supplier ‘down under’. Park World finds out more.

WhiteWater World is located on the Gold Coast, right next to Dreamworld – Australia’s biggest theme park. The waterpark prides itself on its wide range of water rides and slides – suitable for kids of all ages, and as well as those that remain kids at heart.

Fully 6, WhiteWater World’s newest attraction, is the Gold Coast’s first waterpark attraction to be built in five years. Inspired by the big waves and tubes of the Gold Coast surf, the ‘fully sick” slide structure boasts the only tower in Australia, with six different body slides with multi-coloured natural light effect offering six unique ‘splashtacular’ experiences. Forming part of a $7-million investment into WhiteWater World, the opening comes just as WhiteWater World’s multi-million-dollar makeover wraps up, with parkwide refurbishments set to be complete shortly – including freshly painted slides and attractions, restoring them to ‘as new’ condition and making the entire waterpark look brand new.

Work is also currently underway on refurbishing the waterpark’s existing slides and attractions, including fresh paint which will restore the slides to mint condition. Polin’s attractions are predicted to more than fulfill guests’ expectations for sure. The newest of these waterslides is the Fully 6, six individual body slides which offers varying thrill levels.

The slide experience

Fully 6 invites guests to take the plunge across five unique adrenalin experiences. The slides are decked out with multi-coloured natural light effects, and are expected to ‘make a splash’ with new and returning visitors alike.

A team of more than 40 local contractors, including creator Swimplex-Polin Australia, worked behind the scenes on the development of Fully 6,  with construction starting in July.
