At the 2025 MENALAC Awards held in Riyadh on the eve of the SEA Exhibition, KCC Entertainment Design won two Awards, confirming its reputation as a leading player in the global entertainment industry.
With this Best Designer Award, the MENALAC jury recognises KCC’s outstanding contribution to the design and realisation of world-class leisure destinations across the MENA region.
In addition, The DockX in Jeddah, a KCC-designed project developed in collaboration with Fawasel Group, was awarded Best Family Entertainment Center (FEC) Above 2,000 sqm.
Another notable KCC project, Bonkers in Al Khobar (for Adventure World Entertainment), was a finalist in three categories.
“These awards are a testament to the creativity, dedication, and expertise of our team,” said Yannick Maes, chief executive of KCC Entertainment Design.
“We’re proud to continue playing a key role in shaping the entertainment landscape of the Middle East, in close partnership with our visionary clients.”
KCC made its MENA debut in 2001 with the launch of Moon Toon at Serafi Mall in Jeddah – a FEC that remains in operation today. Since then, KCC has contributed to numerous iconic venues, including IN10SO (Jeddah), Sega Republic (Dubai Mall), Fun Oasis (Khobar), Play (Kuwait), Funzone (Oman), Pixoul (Abu Dhabi), Adrenark (Abu Dhabi), the last as winner of Best FEC in 2023.
KCC also designed three anchor attractions at Doha Festival City: Angry Birds World, Snow Dunes, and Virtuocity.
Opened in early 2024, The DockX is a groundbreaking entertainment destination located in Jeddah’s Red Sea Mall. Spanning over 3,500 square metres, it offers a diverse mix of interactive attractions, including AR Bowling, AR Billiards, a Black Box immersive rooms, karaoke suites, drift karting, gamified mini-golf and many more. With this unique mix, The DockX is one of the first locations catering to a target audience of 12 years and older in KSA.
