Infinite Acquisitions Partners LLC (“Infinite”) has recently announced that it has signed a nonbinding letter of intent (“LOI”) with Oceaneering International, Inc. (“OII”) regarding the acquisition of Oceaneering Entertainment Systems (OES) from OII through an asset acquisition. Furthermore, Infinite and Falcon’s Beyond Global, Inc. (Nasdaq: FBYD) (“Falcon’s Beyond”), a pioneering entity in innovative and immersive storytelling through its divisions, including Falcon’s Creative Group, Falcon’s Beyond Destinations, and Falcon’s Beyond Brands, have also entered into a nonbinding LOI for Falcon’s Beyond to manage OES. It is noteworthy that Infinite holds a significant stake in Falcon’s Beyond.
OES, the entertainment division of OII, has established itself as a leader in the development of intricate ride and show systems for over 25 years. The organization is recognized as an award-winning innovator in entertainment systems and show equipment, serving as a reliable partner for the foremost theme park developers and operators worldwide.
OES and Falcon’s Beyond have worked together on themed entertainment initiatives across the globe for more than twenty years. Should the transactions be finalized, Infinite, as the new owner of OES, would leverage Falcon’s Beyond’s expertise to oversee OES, which includes the development and support of trackless ride vehicles, flying theaters, and more. Falcon’s Beyond intends to retain key personnel from OES to facilitate the operation of OES.
