In the loop …at last!

Europa-Park turned upside down

Europa-Park has revealed details of the launch coaster it is adding next season, courtesy of Mack Rides. Surprisingly, it will be the first coaster to turn guests at the German park upside down since the venue opened in 1975!

The new ride will race from 0-100km/h in 2.5 seconds, reaching a maximum height of almost 40-metres. The 32-metre-high loop will be followed by a series of turns, right and left rolls, a hump and a 360-degree heartline roll before hitting the brakes. In total the coaster will feature over 1,000-metres of track, as well as a brief dark ride element. Five 20-passenger trains will be used.

The attraction, which will be ready for the start of the season, is being built next to the Scandinavian themed area of Europa-Park.
