Learn and burn in the Bahamas
IAAPA has announced a new event to “enhance and update” the traditional Summer Meeting it holds each September. And amusement industry executives with time and money to spare will love the choice of venue for this new winter fixture – the Bahamas.
IAAPA Connections takes this coming February at the Atlantis resort on Paradise Island, where attendees will be able to enjoy world-class social events, educational presentations and seminars from industry leaders, plus an exclusive look at behind-the-scenes of Atlantis itself.
Kerzner International’s spectacular Atlantis development rises magically from the turquoise lagoons and blue of the Atlantic. This unique, ocean-themed destination offers a variety of guest accommodation, over 35 restaurants, bars and lounges and the most exciting casino in The Bahamas. The focal point, however, is the 20 million gallons of fresh and salt-water pools and lagoons …all located on a “seemingly endless stretch of beautiful beach.”
An excited IAAPA CEO, Charlie Bray, has this to say: “This event will be the networking and learning meeting our members have come to enjoy with a decidedly new twist.”
IAAPA Connections 2009 takes place form Tuesday to Thursday, February 24 to 26. If you fancy some tax-deductible sun, sand and surf, check the IAAPA website for more information: www.iaapa.org/Connections
