Four more KidZania facilities are ready to keep bringing the perfect mix of fun and learning to its visitors. KidZania Bangkok, KidZania Abu Dhabi, KidZania London, KidZania Guadalajara, KidZania Santa Fe and KidZania Cuicuilco join the 11 parks that have reopened their doors since April 2020.
The team at KidZania Bangkok reopened on September 15th and their main objective was to ensure that the “new normal” didn’t affect the entertainment and knowledge that comes with the KidZania experience. Following this interest and to protect their visitors and team, KidZania Bangkok implemented hygiene measures that include reduced hours, reduced capacity of 50% in the facility and in role-playing activities, plus strict cleaning, and social distancing measures.
After a long wait, KidZania Abu Dhabi gladly reopened its borders to tourism on September 26th. The local Ministry of Economy granted the facility located at Yas Mall, a permit to reopen after a thorough analysis of the actions taken by this facility to ensure the safety of their visitors and staff. KidZania Abu Dhabi will be operating with a maximum capacity of 660 people and all the fun & learning that comes with this innovative edutainment concept.
From October 1st and after extensive safeguarding preparations, KidZania London will open their doors once again. During its opening weekend, 1st-4th October 2020, KidZania London recognized the hard work and sacrifice of frontline key workers throughout the global outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic. In direct response to their required frontline efforts, there will also be increased ‘salaries’ for KidZania’s keyworker role-playing activities across the city as well as daily ‘ZanK-U’ parades.
KidZania London will operate reduced opening hours across fewer days in the week, with guests asked to book ahead online to guarantee entry, as well as familiarize themselves with the full list of health and safety measures and requirements before visiting.
In Mexico, KidZania Guadalajara reopened its doors on October 9th, while KidZania Santa Fe and KidZania Cuicuilco, both located in in Mexico City, will do the same on October 16th. Throughout the whole month, these facilities will also host special events for health professionals and their families as a way thank them for their incredible job and determination.
KidZania Guadalajara, KidZania Santa Fe and KidZania Cuicuilco have implemented thorough hygiene and social distancing measures to guarantee that both visitors and staff can come back to KidZania and enjoy a day of fun and learning in a safe environment.
