News rides announced
The Fabbri Group was due to deliver its second Sky Tower (the first is pictured here) to a customer in France any day now.
The first, readers may recall, debuted, in Holland at the start of September, and turns at up to 10rpm as riders circle a 30-metre-tall column in seats suspended by chains. An order for a third ride has already been secured, although the customer cannot be revealed at this stage.
Other recent sales for the Italian manufacturer include two Smashing Jump rides. Next year the company will release a new children’s ride called the Funky Frog. According to Fabbri’s Michele Colombari, the ride features a brand new movement: “We though there were no movements left, but we’ve found another one!”
