Visitors to the Europa-Park Resort can get excited about many highlights this year as the park celebrates its 50th anniversary. Open all year round, the Rulantica water world rings in Europa-Park’s jubilee season with its first Nordic Festival of Lights.

Between January 13 and March 21, guests can enjoy the magical illuminations and dreamlike shows and entertainment on offer.

On March 22, Germany’s largest theme park’s summer season begins. With many special promotions and new attractions, the owner family Mack is celebrating its business’ success story. Fantastic shows and all manner of surprises, as well as over 15 hours of fast-paced fun, are to be had at both Summer Night parties. On July 12, the birthday of Germany’s largest theme park, and August 23, when the 10th birthday of Europa-Park’s JUNIOR CLUB is celebrated, guests can enjoy action, adrenaline and fun until midnight.

What’s more, in the jubilee year the European idea will also be celebrated under the motto: ‘Experience. Europe. Together.’.

For visitors, this entails an unforgettable and intensive journey through Europe. Amongst other things, Germany’s largest theme park presents different themed festivals during which visitors can get up close to traditions typical of each country and different cultures:

The 50th anniversary of Europa-Park will also be celebrated from up high. Between May 1-3, more than 20 hot air balloons will conquer the skies over Germany’s largest theme park.

From about 800 metres up, guests can explore Europa-Park from a bird’s perspective and, at the same time, get a spectacular view of the Black Forest across the Rhine plain and towards the Vosges. Guests can also look forward to a special balloon to tie in with the jubilee.
