Efteling attractions to open for longer in the spring

This year, Efteling – the fairytale theme park in the south of Holland – is open 366 days.

In April, the fairytale theme park celebrates spring with extended opening hours to enjoy Efteling’s enchanting attractions for longer. These include Efteling’s latest additions: the new fairytale in the Fairytale Forest, The Six Swans, or and the 4D film adventure, Fabula, both of which opened towards the end of 2019.

Springtime visitors will be among the first to ride the new Max & Moritz dual-tracked family roller coaster, which is currently under construction and set to open this spring. This attraction is based on the German illustrated story by Wilhem Busch (written in 1865) about the rascals, Max and Moritz, who like to play tricks on villagers.

At the beginning of March, De Vliegende Hollander (The Flying Dutchman) boats will start running again followed by the Piraña river rapid boats later in the month, which come into operation after their winter closure.

In addition, from 4 April, daily performances of the exciting park show, Raveleijn, will resume.

Visitors will also be able to enjoy the 100,000 tulips, crocuses and daffodils and the 30,000 spring flowers that are expected to show their colours in time for the longer opening hours.
