Eco accommodation for Cornwall’s Crealy

Luxury lodges planned

Crealy in Cornwall, England, is to invest £1.5 million (€2m) by building luxury eco-lodges within its grounds.

“Quality accommodation at Cornwall’s Crealy will benefit North Cornwall as a whole, in terms of jobs, local businesses and by encouraging year round tourism in the region,” says David Wright, one the park’s family owners. “Less than 7% of the area’s accommodation is currently 5-star. Our plans will also enhance the environment with significant landscaping to benefit our visitors and local wildlife.”
Crealy already runs two successful five-star holiday cottages (pictured) near the park in Cornwall and is keen to develop year-round trade as a result in changes to school holiday periods around the UK.
Plans for the eco-lodges are now awaiting approval from North Cornwall District Council. See a video for the cottages here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uwq65pvMHK8
