EAG Expo 2022, which was scheduled to take place on 11th-13th January, will now take place from 1st-3rd March 2022 instead. The venue remains ExCeL London and the event will feature more than 80 industry exhibitors.
Chairman Martin Burlin announced that following close consultation with bacta, the industry’s leading trade association behind the event, the decision had been made to delay the show in the interests of visitor safety. Martin said, “It is with considerable regret that we have decided to delay EAG Expo but we take seriously our duty of care towards our visitors, and with the current Covid situation we felt this was the only reasonable course of action we could take.”
Martin went on “…it is such a disappointment to have to do this, particularly when there has been such strong interest from all sectors to come together and meet again in person after last year’s disruption.
“However, with the situation changing so quickly right now, we must remain mindful that exhibitors need certainty to plan their booth logistics, travel and accommodation, and visitors similarly need our reassurance that the best precautions are in place. Our only option was to postpone.”
Martin added, “We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone involved in EAG Expo for their support and understanding and look forward to seeing you all in March.”
