Disneyland Paris has welcomed back its annual Disney Halloween Festival, with new seasonal decorations, character costumes and immersive experiences transforming the resort for autumn
Running from 26 September to 1 November 2026, the festival brings together Disney favourites and some of the franchise’s most recognisable villains for a celebration aimed at visitors of all ages.
At the heart of the festivities is the return of Mickey’s Halloween Celebration, a four-float cavalcade featuring a host of Disney characters. Daisy Duck leads the procession, with appearances from characters including Clarabelle Cow and Horace Horsecollar, before Mickey Mouse takes centre stage aboard the Manor of Illusions float, complete with its signature rapid costume changes.
Visitors can also meet Mickey, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck and Daisy Duck in new Victorian-inspired Halloween outfits. The designs see Mickey take on the look of a mysterious count, Minnie become a witch, Donald appear as a vampire and Daisy embrace a bat-inspired look.
A new look for Main Street, U.S.A.
Disneyland Park has received a series of new decorative additions designed to create a more immersive Halloween atmosphere. Main Street, U.S.A. features around 40 new pumpkins and 170 candles, alongside Victorian-inspired garlands and an original musical composition. Evening projections will add another layer to the setting as the street takes on a more mysterious appearance after dark.
At Main Street Station, four new Art Deco-style stained-glass windows feature Disney villains Maleficent and Ursula. Meanwhile, Town Square’s gardens have been decorated with carved pumpkins depicting Mickey and Minnie, complemented by gold detailing and character-inspired candles.
Frontierland also embraces the season, with decorations inspired by the Mexican traditions of Día de los Muertos around Casa de Coco – Restaurante de Familia.
Disney villains take centre stage
The festival offers opportunities to encounter a range of Disney villains, including Cruella de Vil, Maleficent, Jafar, the Queen of Hearts and Dr Facilier. Jack Skellington and Sally, from Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas, are also returning, with a virtual queue required for their encounters, subject to availability.
Dining experiences have received a Halloween makeover too. The Lucky Nugget Saloon becomes the Unlucky Nugget Saloon, with ghostly decorations and a seasonal menu. New for 2026, the experience extends upstairs with artwork inspired by the portraits featured in Phantom Manor.
Seasonal food and merchandise complete the offering, with Halloween-inspired treats and souvenirs available across the resort.
Halloween night brings extra surprises
The celebrations will reach their peak on 31 October, when Disneyland Paris plans extended opening hours until 11pm, exclusive character encounters and a special fireworks display. M&M’S will also feature in the festivities, with a seasonal treat distribution planned.
The date will also provide the only opportunity of the year for guests to wear Halloween costumes at Disneyland Paris, subject to the resort’s rules on appropriate attire and safety.
With refreshed entertainment, additional theming and experiences extending beyond the park’s attractions, the 2026 festival gives Disneyland Paris another opportunity to combine its established seasonal traditions with new details for returning visitors.
The Disney Halloween Festival runs until 1 November 2026 at Disneyland Park. Entertainment and seasonal decorations are included with valid admission to the park, although some character experiences require booking and remain subject to availability.
