Walt Disney Company executives are discussing plans to consolidate the company’s mobile applications into a unified platform, according to reporting from Bloomberg.

The proposed app would integrate Disney+ with existing mobile platforms including the Disneyland Resort and Disney Cruise Line Navigator apps, creating what is internally described as a super app.

Users would be able to book theme park tickets, purchase merchandise, play games and watch movies through a single platform.

New chief executive Josh D’Amaro is driving the initiative as part of efforts to simplify customer interactions with the Disney brand. D’Amaro succeeded Bob Iger as chief executive in March.

The discussions remain at an early stage with no concrete development steps taken.
